Terms of Service

The Short Version
GiftGiftGift is a free tool for coordinating group gift lists. Use it for its intended purpose, be nice to others, and don't do anything illegal. We'll do our best to keep the service running, but we can't guarantee perfection.
Using the Service
By using GiftGiftGift, you agree to:
- Only invite people you actually know to your lists
- Not use the service for spam, harassment, or illegal purposes
- Keep your account secure
Your Content
You own everything you add to GiftGiftGift (gift ideas, lists, etc.). By using the service, you give us permission to store and display your content to provide the service.
Our Responsibilities
We'll do our best to keep GiftGiftGift running smoothly, but we provide it "as is" without warranties. We're not responsible for:
- Service interruptions or data loss
- Actions of other users on your lists
- Products purchased through links on the platform
- Ruined gift surprises (though we try hard to prevent them!)
Account Termination
You can delete your account anytime from Settings. We may also terminate accounts that violate these terms or are used for abuse. If we need to make significant changes to these terms, we'll notify you via email.
Communications
We send two types of emails:
- Transactional emails (always sent): Password resets, list invitations, and critical account notifications. These are necessary for the service to function.
- Product updates (opt-in only): Occasional emails about new features, the dev journey, and fun extras. You choose whether to receive these from your dashboard or settings. We never subscribe you automatically.
You can unsubscribe from product updates at any time via the link in any email or from your account settings.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GiftGiftGift and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the service.
